Left things to the last minute and had to rush my speech outline today. Decided to take a very undeserved break and ended up editing some photos that I took in Korea. I was mostly just experimenting with the VSCO settings.

I also got bored and created a Dayre account today.

I love going to museums because it's a very cheap way to entertain yourself for hours. Also, I am a basic bitch who takes the same clichéd photos as half the Instagram population. Sometimes I find it shallow af, and wonder if it's a good or bad thing that an artwork's popularity is often based on how Instagram-worthy it is. But that's a discussion for another day.

Anyway, I've recently fallen in love with VSCO, so I am acting artsy with all the heavy edits here.

Wandered over to Fort Canning after that and took more random photos.
This photo kinda represents how I feel about the current semester. I can't wait to reach the light at the end of the tunnel.

I spent Valentine's Day going to class then heading for a job interview, hahahahaha. I think I am relatively indifferent towards the whole Valentine's Day hooha. Decided to celebrate it on another day since I would be too tired after 6 hours of lessons on the 14th. To be honest, I would much rather avoid the Valentine's Day crowd anyway.

"Later people think I abuse you" hahaha I would like to clarify that I was the one who suggested Carl's Jr for our Valentine's dinner.

Planned to watch the sunset at the beach but it was too cloudy + we were lazy to walk all the way in + the Sentosa boardwalk was really nice as well.

No sunset but there were nice pink skies!

"I think you will scold me but I got you flowers" HAHAHA. Because I mentioned several times how flowers were a waste of money and I didn't need them. And I said I especially didn't want big bouquets since they're so extravagant, so he went into the shop asking for the smallest bouquet they have and the florist thought he was being cheapskate. HAHAHAHA.

I think I'd much prefer something simple for Valentine's day. Anywhere too atas intimidates me and makes me too self-conscious. My idea of a tortuous meal involves having to pretend I like wine, feeling obligated to eat everything off my plate because the place is too sophisticated for picky eaters, being overly aware of my table manners and constantly wondering if my elbows should be off the table or whether I am lady-like enough.

Why am I such an uncultured swine, hahahahaha.

I am feeling productive today and so I shall blog ‘٩꒰。•◡•。꒱۶’ Titled this post after the La La Land soundtrack that is super catchy, upbeat and stuck in my head.

Productivity vibes
AS8 feels so calm and peaceful in the morning (▰˘v˘▰)
Managed to achieve my goal of waking up at 6am, whoop whoop! Reached school early to do some work, because I love the peace and quiet before everyone starts streaming in. Also, I looove the cappuccino from The Coffee Roaster! It doesn't have that acidic taste that makes coffee taste like the devil's pee, and $3.20 for a regular cup seems reasonable for an early morning pick-me-up.

Stranger's Reunion v2.0

Crabcake Reunion ($18.90)
THE CRABCAKE REUNION WAS AN UTTER DISAPPOINTMENT. I expected to taste some crab meat, considering the hole it burnt in my pocket, but it just tasted like mashed potatoes - there was no taste of crab meat at all. I did not pay $18.90 for eggs and potatoes. Not sure if mine was exceptionally underwhelming, or if they are always this giam siap with their crabcakes. Oh well, lesson learnt.

I really missed their waffles and thankfully this did not disappoint! Still the same old warm, fluffy and fragrant waffle - this hits the spot every. single. time.

Went to explore The Pinnacle@Duxton. Clearly my photography skills are non-existent.

Hehe I really liked this photo.

TU4N 圆饭
And because the CNY vibes are still going strong, met up with the T4 batch mates for reunion steamboat dinner! Btw, this was way too much food for the 7 of us.

Ate a lot of food, talked a lot of cock, gambled and won $15! Looks like my Rooster luck isn't that terrible after all.

And a random photo to end off this post:
We've been blessed with lots of pink and purple sunsets recently (✿◠‿◠)
